• Question: Did you ever get judged for being female engineers?

      I think it depends on where you work. I don’t think I’ve ever been disadvantaged by being a woman here, but I know some people who have been treated weirdly in other jobs. The main thing is we need more female engineers so that everyone gets used to us! But it is an issue the industry takes really seriously and is trying to change, so it’s an exciting time to be a female engineer too.

      Unfortunately sometimes yes I think I have been judged for being a female engineer or maybe just overlooked because I’m female. The more I am in this industry the better it is getting though. Maybe that’s coming with my own confidence as well.
