Question: how does it make you feel knowing that you are making a medication to cure people?

I really do think that the fact that my research might help patients in the future really motivates me to be really thorough and do my best work.
Research is a very slow thing, and it will be years before anything I work on would actually be used by a doctor but its still really cool to imagine it getting there.
