I would start small research facilities for scientists to use for free.

If it was for me personally, I would put it towards a retirement fund, because I am at an age where this is important to me.

If it was to be spent on things other than me, I have a vision of informing young people about engineering and its variety through social media in some way. £1M could get something like this rolling at a national level.

Some i’d give to my family so they could live comfortably for a bit of time. the rest i’d use for STEM outreach and maybe start up a not-for-profit to go into schools with talks and demonstrations.

A super duper microscope that would let me film my cells attaching to my coating surfaces.
