I am the only person in my family that is an engineer, however, some of my family are farmers and I would argue that some of the things they have to fix and construct could be seen as engineering 🙂

My mum use to work as a project manager at an engineering company for quite a few years. She has since decided to start engineering plants and has her own garden centre 🙂

My dad is, he used to work on helicopters when he was younger but now he works on transport networks all over the world.
I hadn’t thought I had been overly influenced by him in choosing engineering but taking part in this has made me realise it must have rubbed off a bit!

Not until my little brother graduated in engineering last summer, now there’s two of us!

Apparently my great grandfather was, but I never knew him, so he doesn’t count.

Nope, my parents both work as business analysts (and to be honest I still don’t quite know what that means) and my sister is an actor. We’re a varied bunch!
