I’d like to say Alice Jacqueline Perry who is considered to be the first female engineer, but I hadn’t heard of her until last year. She was still amazing though!

I have never really had a role model. It was and still is, the challenge of the work and the improvements to life that he solutions can bring that inspire me.

Marie Curie always inspired me when I was growing up. She overcame so much adversity to be able to go to university and reserach. Plus she was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize (twice!!, and the only person ever to win a Nobel prize in two different sciences. She was also the first female professor at the University of Paris. Absolutely incredible.

I don’t really have a role model, my family taught me it was important to work hard so I just do things I find interersting.
