      It does change the way you look at life. Because I meet a lot of amputees, it makes me realise how lucky I am. Although I suffer from Crohn’s disease, an ongoing illness that affects me in many ways, I am still so much better off than some other people.

      It also makes me watch the way people walk! I think about the biomechanics of how they walk affects how their walk looks.
      When I see an amputee, I look to see whether their limb is working as well as it should and if it has been fitted properly!.
