Most: I get to be really creative. It’s a really great sense of achievement to be able to solve a problem, and if it actually works!
Least: I am working with people from a whole lot of different fields, and everyone has their own language. I quite often have to be the “translator”. For example, I have two supervisors, one with a biology background and one with a physics background, and I’m in the middle trying to make sure everybody understands each other. It can be really challenging.

Most – Solving problems, it’s really satisfying
Least – When you get stuck trying to solve a problem and can’t seem to get round it, it’s so annoying!

Most: learning new things and techniques! Also, when you try something in real life and the theory that you learned previously makes sense is amazing.

Least: when experiments don’t work as you want them to. It can get quite frustrating but you just have to remind yourself that its all part of the learning process and to try again tomorrow.
