• Question: What do you think will be a good A-level course to help me become an engineer?

      If you were going to do a-levels I would suggest Maths and Physics would be good basis for engineering.
      You could be more specific and study electronics, chemistry, biology etc depending on which branch of engineering you prefer.

      I agree with Carmel, maths is definitely good for all types of engineering, and depending on the type of engineering other STEM fields would be useful as well.

      As the others have said, maths would be my number one, with physics close behind.

      I would also agree with Carmel. Maths and physics would really help. But if you haven’t done them it’s not the end of the world.

      If you want to come at engineering sideways like me then I would say at least one of physics or maths and then as many other sciences as interest you!
      BE WARNED a lot of engineering courses will expect Physics and Maths though, worth looking at the courses you might be interested in doing at uni!
